Jewelry Care
It’s best not to wear your jewelry when performing intense activities that can damage it, such as outdoor activities or exercise. This can potentially scratch your jewelry. When performing self-care, do not allow your gems to come into contact with chemicals such as detergents, soaps, hairspray or cosmetics or even applying body lotion. These can dull your jewelry over time.
To prolong the longevity of your jewelry we highly recommend you remove them when cleaning, bathing, and swimming. The harsh chemicals associated with these activities cause unnecessary deterioration of jewelry.
When you are not wearing your jewelry, it is best to keep it in a closed box, away from sunlight and oxidization. This way your jewelry is carefully protected and ensures your jewelry will remain beautiful and sparkling.
Over the course of time, body oil and skin products can collect on gems and leave a residue that can occlude stones. To gently clean your jewelry, use warm soapy water and a soft cloth in order to remove oils, dust, and buildup. For best results, aim to clean your stone at least once or twice a month to keep it as bright and brilliant as possible!
