Use this guide to see which hoop diameter size fits each piercing best. All recommendations are based on a standard 16G (1.2mm) post.
💝 How Piercing Jewelry is Measured
Measurements follow standard piercer sizing. Use the guide below and compare with jewelry you already own to find your best fit.
• Straight Barbell Length → Measure the wearable length between the end pieces
• Hoop Diameter → Measure straight across the inside of the hoop
• Curved Barbell Length → Measure end to end, following the curve
✨ Between sizes? Sizing up slightly usually offers the most comfortable fit.

Gauge (G) is the thickness of the post, the lower the number the thicker it is. Most ear piercings use 16G (1.2mm), the standard size for healed piercings.
